I need to hire a skip. What size rubbish skip bins do you have?
For all your skip rental needs, Wheelie Skips specialise in 4 cubic meter skip bins for 3 days bin hire. Of course, we can offer additional days if needed, but please be aware that additional days will incur an extra charge.
In our experience, three days is an ideal time-frame for your home DIY renovation, house clean-up, office or building suite clean-up.
How high can I load the skip bins?
The lids on our wheelie skips must be able to close. Overloaded bins may incur an additional fee.
What waste can I throw into the wheelie skip bin?
Any general, light industrial and green waste can be put into the wheelie skips. For further information see our page on waste types.
What can’t I put in a wheelie skip?
For all rubbish skip hires, there are strict guidelines on what can’t be placed in our rubbish skips. Hazardous materials such as poisons, asbestos, paints, chemicals etc. cannot be placed in our wheelie skips. Our weight allowance is 500kg, so please be mindful of this if disposing of heavy items such as bricks, concrete or soil. For further information see our page on waste types.
Overloaded skips will incur an additional charge.
Do I need a council permit for the wheelie skip bin?
No! One of the great things about wheelie skips is they don’t require a Council permit. Our rubbish skip bins are mounted on registered trailers and therefore can be parked anywhere a car can! This means no additional charges to the customer and no having to deal with local councils to arrange a permit.
Can I specify a delivery or collection time for my rubbish skip bin?
Yes, we have a 24-hour, custom-built booking system which allows you to nominate a delivery window for your wheelie skip delivery. By paying through our website, you don’t even need to be home when we deliver it! Tell us where you would like the wheelie skip trailer placed and allow Wheelie Skips to do the work.
If you need advice on where best to place your wheelie skip, our knowledgeable team are here to help.
How long can I keep the skip bin?
